SSSP (Samsung Smart Signage Platform) is the signage runtime built into Samsung professional displays, originally based on Linux and today on the Tizen operating system. SSSP is what allows Samsung signage displays to act as self-contained SoC signage endpoints, running CMS-delivered content without any external player.

Each major SSSP version corresponds to a generation of Samsung signage hardware. Livesignage is certified across the SSSP/Tizen versions in active commercial use, providing a unified cloud platform that lets organizations deploy mixed generations of Samsung hardware while keeping a single workflow for content authoring, scheduling and monitoring.

Use Cases

SSSP / Tizen Samsung displays are deployed wherever clean, scalable SoC signage is required:

- Corporate: lobbies, meeting rooms, internal KPIs and welcome boards.
- Retail: window displays, in-store screens, queue displays.
- Hospitality: in-room TVs and lobby information.
- Healthcare: patient information and waiting room displays.
- Transportation: passenger information and schedule boards.
