A Video Wall is a display surface assembled from multiple individual screens arranged in a grid to function as a single coordinated visual surface. Video walls can be built from ultra-narrow-bezel LCD displays (typically 1×1mm seams), direct-view LED cabinets (no visible bezels), or a mix of the two depending on viewing distance and budget.

The defining requirement of a video wall is frame-perfect synchronization across every component display: any drift between screens is immediately visible as the eye tracks motion across the seams. Livesignage drives video walls of any size through the Live Sync add-on, which manages a network clock across players to keep every display aligned to within a single video frame.

Use Cases

Video walls are deployed wherever the display itself contributes to the brand experience:

- Corporate lobbies: signature welcome walls and executive briefing centers.
- Retail flagship stores: floor-to-ceiling brand storytelling installations.
- Sport venues: stadium concourse walls, locker-room briefing walls.
- Broadcast studios: virtual backgrounds and anchor backdrops.
- Control rooms and operations centers: dense, high-information operational walls.
